The easiest way to get to Boothbay Harbor from out of state is to fly into Portland (PWM) and either arrange transportation from the airport or rent a car. There are limited Ubers and taxis in Boothbay, so we recommend you plan ahead for your airport transfers.

Although the wedding is in Wiscasset, we recommend you stay in Boothbay Harbor as all other events over the weekend will be located there. There are several great lodging options around town. The largest of the Boothbay area hotels - Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Golf Resort, Topside Inn, and Spruce Point Inn - are all well located around the harbor and will be the main pick up and drop off points for the busses on Saturday. Given August is the height of the summer season in Boothbay Harbor, we do not have any formal room blocks, but there is an abundance of hotels and B&Bs throughout Boothbay Harbor and we do not anticipate a shortage of rooms. All recommended hotels are taking reservations via phone. Should you have trouble booking, please contact us for support.

There will be complimentary shuttles available between Oceanside Golf Resort and the Yacht Club for the welcome party. The shuttles will depart from Oceanside on a continuing basis from 5:30 to 6:30pm. Return shuttles from the Yacht Club to Oceanside will run from 7:30 to 8:30pm. If you are waiting more than 10 minutes or your timing does not align with this schedule, you can visit or call the front desk at Oceanside at 207-633-4455 and they can call another bus for you. We have also arranged for Oceanside's Hinkley to be available to our group. The Hinkley can accommodate six people at a time and will take trips from 5:30pm to 6:45pm. It can be found off Oceanside’s dock by Coastal Prime.

Yes, there is parking directly in front of the Yacht Club and an overflow lot across the street by the tennis courts. You may park on the grass on the tennis lot side as needed.

Yes, we will have buses departing from Oceanside Golf Resort, Spruce Point Inn, and the town center by Red Cup Coffeehouse at 29 Commercial Street. The buses will be at the pick-up points at 3:45pm and will leave promptly at 3:55pm. Please give yourself plenty of time to get to whichever pick-up point is closest to where you are staying. For our Boothbay Harbor friends, we ask that you take the bus departing from Commercial Street. For the Oceanside and Spruce Point pick-ups, the buses will be on the street out front of the hotels, they will not pull into the respective parking lots. The shuttles will bring people back to Boothbay Harbor at the end of the night. There will be an early shuttle back to Boothbay Harbor at 9:00pm, with the remainder of shuttles returning at 10:00pm.

Yes, there is on-site parking at Marianmade Farm and an attendant will be present to direct you to a spot.

Cocktail attire. We recommend shoes that will be comfortable on grass for the ceremony. The weather is looking absolutely beautiful, but it does get a bit chilly when the sun goes down. We recommend you bring a shawl or jacket!

Yes, for anyone who wants to keep the night going, we will host a casual after party at Harborside 1901 Bar & Grill from 10:30pm to midnight Saturday! All buses will do an initial drop off at Harborside before carrying on to the hotels. The location is within walking distance from Oceanside and the town hotels. Spruce Point Inn is a bit farther of a walk, so you will likely need to plan for a ride home.

For this event, please take advantage of the parking lots for the hospital – it is closed on Sundays so there should be plenty of space.
